Credits
What credits are spent on, when you get them back, and what happens when you run out.
Credits are the currency for AdenAI's work. Every time AdenAI works on a ticket, it costs credits. Everything else in the dashboard is free: creating projects, writing tickets, previews, comments, support.
What a ticket costs
Exactly what it used. There is no fixed price per ticket and none per model. AdenAI measures what a run really costs while it works, and turns that into credits.
A small copy change is cheap, a new page with logic costs more. A ticket that finishes fast costs little, even if you allowed the strongest model.
That is why there is no price table here and no example calculation. How much balance one run uses up depends heavily on the task, and any number we gave you up front would be guesswork.
The model on the ticket is a ceiling, not a price. AdenAI takes the weakest model that will do for each step, and never a stronger one than yours. Which models you can choose depends on your plan: Trial gets Haiku only, Dev adds Sonnet, Pro and Team have all three.
When credits are deducted
Continuously, while the work happens. Starting costs nothing. As long as AdenAI is building on your ticket, the amount grows with it. You pay what comes out at the end, not a flat rate fixed up front.
Where you see it
- On the ticket, in the Usage panel. The number grows while the run is going.
- In the header at the top you see your balance. It counts up live, so you do not have to reload the page to see how much is gone.
Every entry is listed with date and reason under Billing, one line per ticket. If a number looks odd, that is where to check.
When a run does not go through
What comes back when a run fails depends on what went wrong:

A run that finished gets nothing back: the work was delivered. Every refund is its own line under Billing, with the reason next to it.
How many do I get?

Credits arrive with each billing period. Unused credits do not expire immediately: you can accumulate up to two monthly allowances. On the Dev plan that is 1,000 at most. Anything beyond that is lost.
Topping up
If that is not enough, there are two ways:
- +200 credits for 9.99 EUR, one-off, under Billing. Not a subscription, and it does not expire.
- Change plan. From the next period you get the larger allowance.
Paying is not possible yet
The purchase flow is built, but our prices are not set up on the Stripe side yet. Until that is done, neither a plan nor a credit pack can be bought. If you run out of credits during the beta, message us in support and we will top you up manually.
When you run out
AdenAI will not start a new ticket. The ticket moves to "Blocked" with the reason in the thread. A task that is already running is finished properly, even if your balance goes negative along the way.
Nothing is lost: projects, tickets, code and previews stay exactly as they are. Once you have credits again, you can restart the blocked tickets.
At around one fifth of your monthly allowance we send a warning email, unless you have turned that off in your profile.
Emails are not arriving at the moment
Our mail sending is still waiting for approval from the provider. Until then, notifications do not reach external addresses. Your balance is always visible in the dashboard.
